Sling-shot Piñata! Charity Fundraiser

Lou Eldon

With catapults in hand and paint-filled sponges in the other, we had an amazing time last night with our friends over at Gun Control Paintworks in the Surrey Hills, raising funds for two incredible causes: @thepacecentre and @movember.

The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as everyone gathered, each dressed in protective wear and goggles, and ready to make their mark and unleash their inner artist. From that moment, it was clear that this event was going to be something special.

Everyone brought their A-game, taking turns at slinging paint-filled sponges at the hanging bike frame, which was suspended from the ceiling like a piñata. As we took aim, the splatters of paint transformed the bike frame into a masterpiece. Each throw was met with cheers, as the bursts of colour flew through the air. The frame, initially primed white, gradually became an artist's canvas. By the end of the night, the finished bike looked absolutely stunning, adorned with a myriad of mark making and drips of colour that reflected the fun and energy of the evening.

This collaborative artwork is not just a visual delight; it holds a deeper purpose as well. The finished bike will be raffled off to raise funds for two incredible causes: @thepacecentre and @movember which made the experience even more rewarding knowing that it would help make a really positive impact.

[Raffle now ended].

Thank you to Gun Control and Spoon Customs
